Desperate Housewives star Shawn Pyfrom was involved in a Los Angeles bicycle accident that took place on the afternoon of March 16, 2010.
23-year old Pyfrom was driving in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles when his car collided with an elderly cyclist who had suddenly turned into the actor’s car. The cyclist was riding the wrong way along the road. The bicyclist was driven to a local hospital and the extent of his injuries, though not severe, is unknown.
Our office wishes a quick recovery to the elderly cyclist. Though we are glad that no major injuries were suffered, we remind all cyclists that it is generally a good idea to ride with traffic unless unusual circumstances apply. Even though it may be legal to do so, riding a bicycle against traffic can be very dangerous.
